In more recent years the Inn faced closure as its former owner wanted to redevelop the site as apartments…but businessman Robert Jenkins and his family, saw it, fell in love with its potential and decided to create The Inn at Fossebridge, as near possible to its previous reputation as a wonderful hotel with good food, and set in great surroundings.
It was a huge task … all the bedrooms have been refurbished to follow the style of Georgian times … each has its own special feature; each is named after a town or village in the Cotswolds:
Bibury, Cirencester, Tetbury, Fossebridge, Burford, Northleach, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh.
