More Georgian Style Bedrooms and Studios Planned for The Inn at Fossebridge.

The Inn at Fossebridge is planning to create more accommodation from semi derelict outbuildings in the hotel's beautiful grounds.

And, owner Robert Jenkins has pledged that they will be created to the same high standards he has demanded for the total refurbishment of The Inn at Fossebridge since its acquisition three years ago.

The accommodation will be a blend of luxury double rooms and self catering studios, to complement the cottage which sleeps 10 in the four acre grounds, with their lake and river.

One project - to create a period home for Robert and wife Veronica, using local craftsmen - is almost completed. It has been created within part of a rundown barn and comprises a Georgian style lounge/diner, cloakroom, double bedroom and high quality bathroom.

It is a luxurious one up, one down and has been lovingly created to reflect bygone decor, with the finest attention to detail, including light switches contained within carved, wooden mounts.

The period fireplace with woodburning stove is a key feature within the sitting room.

Robert Jenkins said:" We see it as the style guide for the remainder; it has been an exciting project. which has enabled us to focus on quality and the character of the Cotswolds, which we hold so dear".

It is hoped that the additional studios and bedrooms will be ready for occupation in late 2009. The inn already has eight very different, fully refurbished luxury bedrooms, each named after a Cotswold town or village.

The Inn at Fossebridge, once a coaching inn on the Fosseway, and some five miles from Cirencester on the A429, has attracted worldwide attention for the beauty of its location, food and quintessential Cotswolds atmosphere.
