The Inn at Fossebridge Sponsors Hunt Supporters Anniversary Cricket Match

The Inn at Fossebridge is to sponsor a special cricket match to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cotswold Hunt Supporters Club...

The match will also recall last year's 150th anniversary of the hunt itself.

The inn's sponsorship will pay for a challenge cup to be awarded to the winning team in a 20-20 cricket match between hunt people and supporters.

Robert Jenkins, owner of The Inn at Fossebridge, near Cirencester, said:" We are delighted to sponsor The Inn at Fossebridge Cup, especially as so many of our guests and diners are involved with the hunt".

The match will be on June 26th at Stowell Park - with a running commentary for those who do not know the rules of cricket. There will also be a barbecue.

Robert Jenkins and his family have fully restored the inn since acquiring it four years ago. It has four star AA status.
